A STEWARDESS has revealed a dirty secret behind the free hot towels handed to passengers.
Some holidaymakers might look forward to the steamy face and hand wash when they get on board, but there's something grim lurking on them.

Flight attendants sometimes hand them out after meals, or when flyers wake up from a snooze.
But Kate, a former first-class cabin crew member, revealed some passengers don't use the hot towels where they are supposed to.
She said in a TikTok: "Not everyone uses them just for their hands and faces, if you know what I mean.
“I’ve seen passengers put these cloths in all sorts of places."
